I didn't realize it has been so long since I checked in on the club! Apologies.
Someone has volunteered to take over admin status for the club, though, so as soon as I get a few things sorted out you'll have a new glorious leader to take things on. ^^
What is MIRRORMASK?Mirrormask is an amazing fantasy movie produced by the Jim Henson company, written by the great Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean, and directed by Dave McKean.
It follows the story of a young girl named Helena who dreams of running away from the circus to have a normal life. After her mother falls ill, she wakes up in a very different world, where everyone wears masks and books fly back to the library if the reader rejects them. In this new world, the Queen of Light has fallen asleep, allowing the darkness from the Land of Shadows to invade, and Helena must find the Mirrormask to awaken the Queen, bring balance to the world, and save her mother as well as herself.
